Traffic control in the post-war period

Between 1946 and 1955, police officers in NRW wore a dark blue uniform. At that time, motor vehicles were still allowed to drive on Hansaplatz in Dortmund. Our picture from the police exhibition archive shows a traffic stop. In the background you can see the buildings on the eastern side of the square, from which Wißstraße leads off to the right. The war damage to the houses is also still clearly visible.
