The building went into planning in 1952/1953 and was occupied in 1957. The entrance to the high-rise building was located at Hohe Straße 128 at the time. For a long time, the Mitte police station was located on Alter Mühlenweg/corner of B 1. The picture shows the current rear of the site, the green road is B 1. The washing buildings of the former "Friedrich Wilhelm" colliery (founded in 1815), which ceased operations in 1903, can still be seen in the foreground. This site is now a parking lot for government employees.
