Overall, 2022 was a good year for Dortmund and Lünen in terms of road safety. This overall conclusion can be drawn from the new traffic report for the past year. On a particularly positive note, the total number of road fatalities in Dortmund and Lünen has fallen, reaching a historic low. "We are seeing a positive trend in accident figures compared to the time before the pandemic - but also new phenomena that will have an impact on our work," said Chief Constable Gregor Lange at the presentation of the 2022 traffic report.
